Preparing your body and mind for the birth of your baby.
This is a comprehensive 4 hour workshop blending traditional antenatal education and embodied practices guided by Jo & Anna (Lotus Blue Yoga) who together have almost 20 years of pregnancy, birth and yoga experience.
During the workshop you will:
- Learn all about how our amazing bodies and babies work together during labour and birth
- Understand optimal birth environments, partner support and how to make informed decisions
- Understand the ‘sights and sounds’ of birth and create your own ‘labourinth’ to understand the stages of labour
- Practice breathing techniques to support you during birth whilst using ice to deepen the experience
- Learn massage techniques, birth ball exercises and positions for labour
- Try pregnancy yoga techniques for you and your partner
- Take home a pack of resources full of information and handy tips for you and your partner
- Enjoy a free gift!
The workshop is suitable from 16 weeks of pregnancy and is created for you and a birth partner, but you are also very welcome to come solo.
